Electro-Meters is excited to announce that we are now sponsoring Éclipse-Véhicule solaire at École de Technologie Supérieure. We are excited to see what innovations they can come up with in their solar vehicle.
The École de technologie supérieure is a university located in downtown Montreal and the 2nd in Canada to train future engineers. It admits students who have completed a technical DEC who wish to continue their training towards the engineering profession. However, it also welcomes students who have graduated from a pre-university program by offering them an additional year to acquire technical knowledge. The ÉTS has an approach based on the practical aspect found in industry and is recognized, among other things, for the many student clubs and their performances in international competitions. These allow students to do much more than just apply the concepts seen in class. Large-scale projects provide a complete experience that is closely related to the reality of the business world. Whether it’s managing a project from A to Z, developing essential skills of an engineer, learning technical concepts or experimenting with various manufacturing processes, the ÉTS offers its students an environment that is conducive to the realization of the project by giving them access to specialized facilities.
