On February 28th, 2024, SIGLENT proudly introduces three new series of oscilloscopes, marking a significant advancement in signal fidelity, visualization, and analysis capabilities. These latest additions complete our comprehensive lineup of oscilloscopes, all featuring advanced 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and specifically crafted for optimal signal quality. With bandwidths spanning from 70 MHz to 4 GHz, Siglent’s high-resolution oscilloscopes now offer exceptional signal fidelity, catering to a wide array of applications, including power analysis, EMI testing, frequency analysis, embedded design, and failure analysis.
Design for Signal Quality
These oscilloscopes blend low noise, gain accuracy, and channel isolation to deliver unmatched capability and value for engineers. The SDS800X HD and SDS1000X HD, specified at just 70 µVrms noise at 200 MHz bandwidth, ensure precise signal integrity. Across all SIGLENT high-resolution oscilloscopes, the lower ranges boast 1.5% DC gain accuracy, with ranges ≥5 mV/div achieving a leading 0.5% accuracy. The SDS3000X HD series provides up to 60 dB of channel-to-channel isolation, offering engineers exceptional performance for addressing challenging signal fidelity issues.
Visualization
To harness the benefits of high-resolution vertical acquisition, SIGLENT’s oscilloscopes enable simultaneous zooming in both horizontal and vertical directions on live signals. Paired with high memory depth, this facilitates in-depth analysis, revealing insights that may otherwise remain hidden. The broad set of ranges, designed with high offset capability, allows engineers to focus on smaller areas of interest, bringing subtle signal anomalies into sharp focus. This combination of range and zoom capability empowers engineers to view and analyze small signal details effectively, especially in RF spaces, where deep memory FFTs on low-noise, 12-bit data enhance debugging and analysis of high-speed signals.
Extensive Functionality
A new high-resolution mode, ERES, offers further noise reduction and flexibility, providing the equivalent of up to 4 extra bits of resolution on the SDS3000X HD. This mode, leveraging high sample rates and deep memory, enhances noise performance at the expense of bandwidth, allowing engineers to optimize oscilloscope performance for specific applications.
All models measure over 50 parameters, support simultaneous mathematical operations across four channels, and feature a formula editor with nested formulas. Additionally, these oscilloscopes support functionalities such as Mask Test, Bode Plot, Power Analysis, Search, and Serial Decode. Optional addition of 16 digital channels enables mixed-signal design analysis. Coupled with Siglent’s isolated signal generator SAG1021I or any SIGLENT arbitrary waveform generator, loop response tests can be conducted to obtain the frequency response curve of the device under test. Detailed analysis of Bode plot curves is facilitated through data lists, cursor measurement, and automatic measurement functions.
The new oscilloscopes feature high-definition touch screens (7” or 10.1”), advanced web control, and network drive data capabilities. The combination of an intuitive user interface, one-button operations, and seamless remote access significantly enhances operational efficiency in any use mode.
In conjunction with our existing SDS2000X HD and SDS7000A series, SIGLENT now offers the broadest and most complete portfolio of high-resolution oscilloscopes, ranging from 70 MHz to 4 GHz. Our unwavering focus on signal quality, visualization tools, and capabilities ensures that, regardless of the application, SIGLENT provides performance oscilloscopes delivering exceptional signal fidelity at an extraordinary value.
