Experience Enhanced with Clear, Intuitive, and Convenient Touch Screen Design
This series boasts a full touch panel design and a simple UI operation interface, making it effortless to navigate and configure parameters. With its professional programming functions, users can easily fine-tune settings to their requirements. The output parameters are prominently displayed in capital letters, ensuring a clearer and more intuitive remote reading experience. Additional features include front panel USB data loading and unloading, as well as a convenient flipping function, making operation and usage a breeze.
Expanded Output Range and High Power Density Design
The Momentum S series offers a remarkable single unit output voltage of up to 1500V and an output current of up to 630A. By incorporating a wide-range output design, it eliminates the need to purchase additional models to accommodate diverse testing needs, as it expands the current and voltage output range at full power. Moreover, the series adopts a high power density structure, achieving an outstanding 10kW output power in its 2U model, surpassing the power density of the SP-1U/2U series by 150%.
Flexible Input Options
This series supports global universal input voltage and provides the flexibility to choose between single-phase and three-phase AC input, accommodating a wide range of test applications.
Efficient List/Program/Step Mode Programming
With List/Program/Step modes, this power supply enables seamless waveform programming. Users can conveniently predefine voltage/current values and their corresponding time for each step, triggering the power supply with a signal. The preset sequences and waveforms will be automatically executed according to the defined files. The Sequence mode allows linking multiple files, enabling users to set repeat times for individual files and the overall sequence file.
Optical Fiber Parallel for Unmatched Performance
Equipped with the master-slave function, this series supports optical fiber parallel operation, ensuring almost zero transmission delay through high-speed optical fiber communication. All functions remain synchronized without performance degradation, effectively resolving the issues of slow speed and poor accuracy prevalent in traditional parallel modes. Whether for stand-alone testing or other operations, this series guarantees a seamless experience. Multiple sizes are available, catering to both desktop and system integration requirements.
CC&CV Priority for Optimal Output Control
The CC/CV priority function offered by this power supply empowers users to select the appropriate mode based on their testing requirements. It facilitates high-speed voltage output or prevents current overshoot, making it ideal for various applications such as integrated circuit testing, charge and discharge testing, and automotive electronics power transient simulation. An example application of CC priority is avoiding current overshoot during LED tests.
Adjustable Voltage/Current Slew Rate
This series of power supplies allows for precise control over the rise and fall time settings for both voltage and current, ensuring smooth and adjustable transitions.
Optional TTL/Analog Control and Monitoring
Users can program the output voltage or current from zero to the full range by connecting external voltage sources (0-5 V / 0-10 V) or external resistances (5-10 K). The power supply also supports analog monitoring functions (0V-5V / 0-10V), providing real-time monitoring of the output voltage and current.
Advanced Features of the Professional Version Power Supply
DDS Arbitrary Function Generator
This series of power supplies includes a true function generator capable of generating typical functions for easy editing or direct recall. In addition to the standard functions, this arbitrary generator allows the creation and execution of complex sets of functions, making it invaluable for testing purposes during development and production.
Built-in Standard Automotive Power Network Voltage Curves
Equipped with the German DIN40839 standard voltage curve for the automotive power network and the international standard ISO-16750-2 pulse waveform, this power supply can accurately simulate the performance of automotive electronic equipment under different test conditions. Its fast rise/fall response time, combined with the ability to generate arbitrary functions, establishes it as the preferred power testing instrument in the automotive electronics industry.
Solar Panel I-V Curve Simulation Function
This power supply offers a unique feature that allows for the simulation of solar array output characteristics. It includes Curve Mode, User-defined Mode, and SAS Mode. In Curve mode, users only need to set four parameters to simulate the I-V curve of the solar array. In User-defined mode, users can shape an I-V curve by entering up to 4096 points, enabling simulation of dynamic cloud cover effects, which is particularly useful for MPPT performance evaluation on PV inverter devices. The built-in SAS mode allows users to set parameters to simulate specific I-V curve characteristics and generate comprehensive reports.
Battery Simulator Function
With built-in typical battery internal resistance curves and discharging curves, this series of power supplies can easily simulate battery behavior in real-world scenarios. It can be paired with battery simulation software to dynamically adjust the output voltage in real time based on the simulation curve and the change in external load current. The software provides real-time data monitoring and data report query functions, offering engineers actual experimental data for studying battery power systems.
Smart 3-stage Charging Algorithm Simulation
This series of power supplies adopts a 3-stage charging algorithm and comes with built-in charging curves suitable for commonly known types of batteries available on the market. Users have the option to recall default curves or modify switching conditions at different charging stages based on test requirements. Through internal design improvements and optimized hardware, the current passing from the battery to the power supply is maintained below 10mA at any battery voltage when the power supply is turned off, effectively preventing battery capacity loss even in the absence of anti-reverse irrigation equipment.
