CTS Cogging Test System
Magtrolās Cogging Test System is a stand-alone test system designed to control and measure Detent Torque, Cogging Torque and Friction Torque. The test System includes a precision geared motor, a TS Series Torque Sensor integrating a 5 000 pulses encoder. CTS 100 to CTS 102 have a built-in security clutches to avoid system overload by mishandling when not in use. The geared motor drives the MUT (Motor Under Test) at a low speed from 1 to 10 rpm (respectively 8 rpm for CTS 103 and CTS 104), while acquiring its cogging torque related to angle position. The torque measurement covers a range up to 1 Nām (depending on the selected torque sensor) with an accuracy of Ā± 0.1 mNām (for TS 100 ā 50 mNām and TS 101 ā 100 mNām).

Motor Testing Software
Magtrolās M-TEST 7 is a state-of-the-art motor testing program for data acquisition. Used with a Magtrol Programmable Dynamometer Controller, M-TEST 7 works with any Magtrol Dynamometer or In-Line Torque Transducer to help determine the performance characteristics of a motor under test. Up to 63 parameters are calculated and displayed utilizing M-TEST 7ās feature-rich testing and graphing capabilities. Written in LabVIEWā¢, M-TEST 7 has the flexibility to test a variety of motors in a multitude of configurations. Magtrol can also make custom modifications to the software to meet additional motor testing requirements.

Magtrolās Model DSP7000 High-Speed Programmable. Dynamometer Controller employs state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing Technology to provide superior motor testing capabilities. Designed for use with any Magtrol Hysteresis, Eddy-Current or Powder Brake Dynamometer, Magtrol In-Line Torque Transducer or auxiliary instrumentation, the DSP7000 can provide complete PC control via IEEE-488 or RS-232 interface. With up to 500 readings per second, the DSP7000 is ideally suited for both the test lab and the production line.

The Model 5241 is a voltage-controlled power amplifier designed exclusively for Magtrolās Model HD-825 Hysteresis Dynamometer.

The Magtrol 7500 Series Power Analyzer is an easy-to-use instrument ideal for numerous power measurement applications. From DC to 80 kHz AC, the 7500 measures volts, amps, watts, volt-amps, frequency, crest factor, Vpeak, Apeak and power factor in one convenient display.
