SIGLENT offers customers a high-precision solution for power rail measurements. The SAP4000P power rail probe supports transient event analysis up to 4 GHz, with its low-noise performance effectively distinguishing between oscilloscope and probe noise, as well as the ripple and noise from the DC power supply being tested. Its ±24 V offset voltage range allows for easy adjustment of dynamic signals with a DC component, positioning them near the oscilloscope’s centerline. Additionally, the wide dynamic range of ±600 mV enables accurate observation of voltage droop when high current is drawn by the load or during transient events on higher voltage rails. The probe’s high 50 kΩ impedance at low frequencies minimizes load effects and interference with the power supply, while the low 50 Ω impedance at high frequencies ensures compatibility with coaxial cables, increasing the test bandwidth.
