Staco Isolated J Series – Variable Transformers

The Isolated J Series variable transformer is designed with a primary winding that is completely isolated from the output or secondary winding. This feature ensures that either side of the output can be grounded independently of the supply line, making it ideal for industrial, classroom, and laboratory applications where an isolated output without a common ground connection is required. The transformer is built to handle 120V, 50/60Hz input, and the output voltages can vary from 0 to 122% of the input for a 0-140 volt output. It comes in three sizes: J201B (2 amps), J401 (4 amps), and J901 (9 amps). These units are available in an uncased design for bench or back-of-panel mounting, with an adjustable shaft to fit various panel thicknesses. Dial plates supplied are 0-100%. Additionally, the J201B and J401 are provided in the 3PN plug and cord series with or without voltmeter or ammeter.
